01Cookies in brief
A cookie, or a local-storage entry, is a scrap of data a website parks in your browser. lottologiyt sorts its own into three groups, and only the necessary group works without asking you first.
02The three groups
| Category | Name | Purpose | Duration | Default |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | ltg_consent_v1 (local storage) | Holds the decision you made in the banner | 12 months | Always on |
| Analytics | Cookies from our analytics vendor | Totals of visits and page views | Up to 26 months | Off until switched on |
| Advertising / affiliate | Partner cookies written after a click | Tie a reservation to lottologiyt | Partner-set, commonly 30 days | Off until switched on; locked off under GPC |
03Switching your decision
At the bottom of every lottologiyt page sits a "Manage cookies" control; pressing it reopens the three toggles. Clearing site data in your browser also resets things and brings back the banner. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control keep the advertising group off.
